Fewer enquiries lost on the reception desk.
For dental, veterinary and therapy practices of 5 to 30 people where new-patient enquiries, callback requests and recalls arrive by phone, a web form and a shared inbox. Fixed price, no per-user fees, and the code and hosting sit in your own accounts.

What goes wrong today
We read the public websites of 8 Scottish clinics (dental and veterinary practices in Tayside, Fife, Perth and Edinburgh) in October 2026 to see how a new patient or client gets in touch. Patterns below come from their sites, not from talking to them.
Two buttons, one contact form
'Book appointment' and 'Make an enquiry' both leading to the same form, so a new patient and a referral look the same and wait in the same inbox.
Forms that do not submit
An 'appointment request' form that only opens the visitor's email app, so any request that is not sent is silently lost, and a one-working-day callback promise rests on reception noticing.
Private and plan patients enquiring by phone only
Practices moving to private or plan membership take new-patient enquiries only by phone or a generic form, with no list of who has asked, who has been called and who has booked.
Referrals and repeat requests in an inbox
Dentist and self referrals, repeat-prescription requests and free-visit days all handled as emails, with no status, owner or reply-due date.
Reception already stretched
In smaller practices nurses also cover reception, so every phone call taken is a clinical minute lost.
What we would build
Every job starts from how your firm really works, found out on our first call or coffee. These are the building blocks we would expect to use.

Enquiry and callback queue
Every web enquiry lands in one list with a status, an owner and a reply-due time, so nothing sits unseen. The patient gets an immediate acknowledgement.
New-patient and plan sign-up tracker
Service requested, quote or fee sent, consultation booked, outcome: one row per enquiry, with a reminder when one goes quiet.
Recall and renewal lists
Who is due a check-up, a vaccination or a plan renewal, with a reminder message and a list for reception to work through.
Referral inbox
Referrals from other practices captured on one form and tracked to a reply.
We build on mainstream, well-documented tools and connect what you already pay for (accounts, email, payments, your website) so nobody types the same thing twice. If your practice-management system (dental or veterinary) already offers online booking, recalls and enquiry handling, use it and we will tell you so on the call.
What we have and have not built
Our one live system today is for a Dundee landscaping firm, not for a clinic or practice. We have not yet built for a clinic or practice, and we will not pretend otherwise. What carries over is the shape of the work: enquiries, a calendar, a list for the day and reminders. The first call or coffee is where we check that your case fits.
The package that fits
Fixed quotes, confirmed in writing before you commit. No per-user fees. A 15-minute call is free.
A new-patient enquiry form that acknowledges the patient, creates a row in a shared queue and emails reception, on tools you keep.
Replaces a form that only opens an email app, or an inbox nobody owns. If it is not live in 10 working days we refund you (conditions apply).
An enquiry-to-appointment tracker with reply-due times and reminders, or a recall list with reminder messages.
One job done properly, with staff training and a handover document. Success criteria agreed in writing first; if one is not met in the 30 days after go-live, we fix it or refund you (conditions apply).
Enquiries, referrals, recalls and plan renewals joined up across one or several sites, with a daily list for reception and a weekly summary for the owners.
For practices with several clinicians and a busy front desk. Paid in stages against milestones, with 90 days of free fixes after go-live.
A 15-minute call or a coffee, then a written fixed quote with a Scope and Success Criteria Schedule. No charge, no obligation.
Optional after launch: monitoring, backups checked, security updates and fixes. You can cancel with 30 days’ notice.
Care, plus up to 2 hours of changes a month, a quarterly review and priority in our queue (not a guaranteed response time).
Conditions apply to every refund or fix promise on this page. The clock pauses while we are waiting for something from you, and you have to claim within set windows. The conditions are in our written order terms (Scots law, for business customers only), which come with every quote; ask for a copy at any time. If this page differs from the terms, the terms win. Fix One Thing is paid half to book and half when it is ready; larger projects are paid in stages set out in the quote. Not VAT registered, so these prices are what you pay. Hosting and third-party fees are quoted up front.
If an accountant or bookkeeper introduced you, we may pay them 10% of the build price after you have paid in full. You do not pay it, your price is the same, and the quote names the introducer and the fee before you accept.
Questions people ask first
What does it cost?
Three sizes, all fixed price for the scope written in the quote: Fix One Thing, one narrow job, at £249; a single-job tool from £749; and a connected business hub from £1,490, subject to written terms. Before any of those, the first conversation is free: a 15-minute call, or a coffee if you are in Tayside or Fife. If a build makes sense, you then get a written fixed quote with a Scope and Success Criteria Schedule, at no charge. There are no per-user fees. Hosting and third-party charges (email sending, payments, a domain) are paid by you or passed on at cost, and the quote lists them. We are not VAT registered, so the figure you see is the figure you pay. Conditions apply to every refund or fix promise: the clock pauses while we wait for you, and you must claim within set windows. They are set out in our written order terms, which come with every quote and which win over this page; ask us for a copy at any time.
Who owns the software, the code and the hosting?
The code repository, the hosting account and the domain are set up in your own accounts from day one, with us added as a user, so nothing sits on our side that you cannot see or reach, and we never lock you out over a dispute. When you have paid in full, and any refund window has ended, we assign you the rights we own in the custom code we wrote for you (clause 8 of our written order terms), with a signed assignation sent to you afterwards. We keep our own reusable components and licence them to you, and open-source parts keep their own licences. We build with AI coding assistants, and we do not promise that copyright exists in code an AI wrote. The terms set this out.
What if you disappear, or stop answering?
We are one person, so we plan for that instead of promising it will not happen. Because the repository, hosting and domain are in your accounts, any competent developer can take over without asking us. Every build comes with a plain-English handover document (what it does, where it lives, how to restore it) kept in your repository, and a Business hub also gets a recorded walkthrough. We use mainstream, widely known tools rather than anything exotic. If Liam cannot continue, the written terms say you get everything in your accounts and a refund for work not yet delivered. We do not yet have a named backup developer. The optional care plan keeps backup checks and monitoring running, and you can end it with 30 days' notice.
What about data protection and privacy?
Your customer data stays in your own accounts. Where we handle personal data for you (for example on a care plan), you are the controller and we are your processor, under a written data-processing addendum. We build with AI coding assistants. We aim to build and test with made-up data and to keep your customers' and patients' records, passwords and secrets away from them, but we cannot promise that nothing personal is ever included, because the content you give us can contain names and contact details. If we find personal data has reached an AI tool, we tell you. If a fault can only be diagnosed with real data, we ask you in writing first. Only the people you choose can see your data, and we ask for the minimum access we need to do the work.
Do you have professional indemnity insurance?
Yes. TurboKast Ltd holds professional indemnity insurance with Hiscox, covering claims by clients about our work (mistakes, and use of AI in the work, included). The limit and the policy terms are given with every quote. It does not cover everything. We do not hold public liability insurance or a separate cyber policy, so our own costs of responding to a data breach are not insured, and the policy does not pay regulatory fines or claims made directly by your customers or patients. If you need a higher limit, other cover, or to be named on our policy, tell us in writing before you accept a quote. If we cannot arrange it on reasonable terms, you can withdraw before work starts and we refund anything you have paid.
Is a ready-made app better for me?
Sometimes. If your practice-management system (dental or veterinary) already offers online booking, recalls and enquiry handling, If it does what you need, use it: it will cost less and we will say so on the call. We are worth a call when your process has a twist that those tools handle badly, or when you would rather pay once than per user per month for ever.
Do you handle patient records and health data?
Not unless our first conversation shows it is the right thing to do. We would build around your existing practice-management system and keep clinical records in it. Enquiry and recall tools can often run on minimal data (name, contact details, the service asked about) and keep health details out entirely. Where health information would be involved we say so in the written quote, set out the extra protections before anything is built, and we do not claim any health-sector certification we do not hold.
Who you would be dealing with
TurboKast Studio is run by Liam Humphreys, in Dundee. We build with AI coding assistants, directed by Liam and checked by automated tests on every change, which is how we can quote fixed prices below typical agency rates. You deal with one person, not an account manager, and the terms say what happens if Liam cannot continue (we do not yet have a named backup developer).

Tell us what is slow. We will tell you honestly if we can help.
Two ways to talk, whichever suits you. No pitch deck either way. If a ready-made tool would do the job, we will say so.
